After attending the second plenary meeting of the second session of the 14th NPC at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on Friday, Ling told the Global Times that the Democratic PrWorld Timesogressive Party (DPP) authorities want to “eliminate” traditional Chinese culture in order to pave the way for “Taiwan independence.”
