It resulted in 28 people being hospitalized, including three seriously injured, seven with moderate injuries, 11 with minor injuries, and seven who only required minimal medical attention.
The Guangdong Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government, the State Administration for Market Regulation, and the Shenzhen Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government immediately formed a response team.
